We, who work at SAMARTH, feel that society has invested a lot in building our competence and we need to repay it by working with the under privileged. We believe in the people and their capability, which remains latent due to lack of opportunity and acceptability by the society. The Mission of SAMARTH is to vitalize the “potential and power of the people”, working with them to move into main stream of society.
It is a non-government, non profit organization, founded by individuals who have ample experience of working with voluntary organizations, government agencies, academic and research institutions and funding agencies in the Social Sector.
Provide support to the Projects / Program / Associations sponsored or funded by NGOS. Trusts / Government / Semi- Government Organization in project planning, monitoring and evaluation and follow-up programme.
To provided for the training of selected persons for the purpose of the fulfillment and carrying of the objectives of the society.
1. To organize awareness programs on road safety, environment, wild and health issues.
2. To open, found, establish, promote, setup and/or maintain hospitals, charitable dispensaries, mobile dispensaries, clinics, and other similar institutions for providing medical relief.
3. To implement and co-ordinate various activities relating to the welfare of people belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and minority groups and also engage in related research activities.
4. To open de-addiction centers, rehabilitation centers, and drug addiction treatment facilities.
5. To implement and co-ordinate various projects aimed towards environmental protection, afforestation, and biodiversity conservation.
6. To promote traditional agriculture, social forestry, and medicinal plant cultivation.
7. To establish rehabilitation centers for those suffering from substance abuse such as alcohol, heroin, and cocaine.
8. To contribute to the Clean India initiative (Swachh Bharat Abhiyan) and related projects.
9. To educate common people and students about the dangers of drug abuse and its consequences.
10. To conduct awareness campaigns, seminars, and publish magazines, journals, and other educational materials.
11. To provide food, clothing, and shelter to the sick, destitute, and underprivileged individuals.
12. To establish and manage information and awareness centers for public education.
Established in 2021, SAMARTH-The Professionals NGO comprises young adult professionals and volunteers with a variety of skills and experiences. We are a registered NGO that aims to help children living and working on the streets of India to realize their dreams and rejoin society by offering opportunities for a better future.
